Prague 2001

13th to 16th October 2001 - London to Prague

As I was working flat out through the Summer of 2001 I only had time for a quick break, where better than Prague. I'd heard mixed reports so I wanted to see for myself before it was totally destroyed by Brits on Stag Weekends. I think October was a great time to go, still warm enough to wander around and sit outside for a beer, but not full of tourists.

Prague looks great. The river, bridges, the old streets and lovely squares. Above the Prague Astronomical Clock and right the Charles Bridge. Some great Czech beer and tasty gamey food. Venison, rabbit and pheasant not things you see on an everyday menu. My sort of town.
